The slope figures are the headline. A published rating of roughly 75% grade on standard tires — about 37 degrees — is steeper than any walk-behind is safe on and steeper than most consumer robot mowers will hold. The wide-tire option, which increases the contact patch, pushes the published ceiling toward 85% grade. Treat those as ceilings in ideal conditions, not promises on wet clay, but they define the terrain this machine is chasing.

Who the S1 Is Actually For

The honest buyer profile is narrow and specific, and that's a compliment, not a knock:

  • Slope and ditch owners. If part of your property is steep enough that you currently mow it nervously, hire it out, or let it go feral, the S1's core promise — keep the human off the grade — is the entire value proposition.

What RC Mowing Trades Away
